A Guide to our Appointments System

The surgery is open from 08:25 and 18:00 on weekdays

All of our doctors run appointment only surgeries. You are free to see whichever doctor you choose by appointment but we suggest that you normally consult the doctor with whom you are registered. Appointments for doctors and nurses can be booked 6 weeks in advance at reception and by telephone. Please note that it is not currently possible to book an appointment online but this will be introduced in the near future.

Urgent Appointments

We run an emergency surgery on weekdays from 08:30 – 10:30. The purpose of the emergency surgery is for patients who urgently need to consult with a doctor on the same day when there are no appointments available. It is not appropriate for patients to use these appointments to request sickness certificates or repeat medication. It is not also  appropriate for long standing problems which may require a longer appointment slot. It is not possible to specify which doctor you will see at the emergency surgery.   All urgent appointments are by telephone and we do not offer a walk in and wait service. Please call the surgery to request a call back with a doctor.  If following your call the GP feels they need to see you face to face they will give you a time to come to the surgery.
