Guide to our Appointments System

Who do I see?

For information on how best to be seen at the Surgery, select the service or condition you require.

The surgery is open from 08:25 and 18:00 on weekdays

All of our doctors run appointment only surgeries. You are free to see whichever doctor you choose by appointment but we suggest that you normally consult the doctor with whom you are registered. Appointments for doctors and nurses can be booked 6 weeks in advance at reception and by telephone.

Urgent Appointments

We run an emergency surgery on weekdays from 08:30 – 10:30. The purpose of the emergency surgery is for patients who urgently need to be seen on the same day when there are no appointments available. It is not appropriate for patients to attend to request sickness certificates or repeat medication. It is not appropriate for long standing problems which may require a longer appointment slot. It is not possible to specify which doctor you will see at the emergency surgery.  All appointments will be telephone consultations, unless the receptionist has been advised to make face to face appointments for certain agreed problems. If following your consultation the GP feels you need to be seen, they will make an appointment for you to be seen the same day.
