We run an emergency surgery on weekdays from 08:30 – 10:30 when you may talk to a doctor on the telephone without an appointment. The purpose of the emergency surgery is for patients who urgently need to consult with a doctor on the same day when there are no appointments available. It is not appropriate for patients to request sickness certificates or repeat medication. It is not appropriate for long standing problems which may require a longer appointment slot. It is not possible to specify which doctor you will see at the emergency surgery.

For warfarin monitoring it is preferred for all samples to be taken at the beginning of the week. If you are in doubt please call to speak to one of our nurses who will advise you
