Due to closure of my old practice, I decided to move to Widcombe surgery.
I was able to register without any problems I had been recommended to the doctor this was only my second visit.
I found the doctor extremely helpful and understanding.
Even though she was running a little late I didn’t feel rushed in any way.
I highly recommend this surgery
I have recently experienced a personal loss and suffered emotional distress resulting in me seeing my GP a few times.
The care, support, understanding and time offered by my GP has been outstanding and the receptionists and secretaries have also been excellent.
The care I received I believe has helped me with my ongoing recovery and dealing of my grief.
I cannot fault this practice at all.
Also the practice has always provided appointments for my children when required in the past and on the rare occasion my husband has required a GP appointment he has been able to attend on a Saturday morning as he has work commitments during the week.
Very impressed with the service offered and the practices ability to provide the care and support required for the individual.
The practice manages waiting times well – and if one has to wait it is in a pleasant environment. Linked to that – one could recognise in consultations that the right amount of time was being given to you and so would never resent it if the person before you needed more!
What could be improved? Nothing.
As a family we have found this practice has been excellent and we have always had the kindness and help when needed.
I have recently had to see my GP and be in contact with Widcombe surgery concerning an emotive matter. I just wanted to say that everyone I came into contact with were extremely professional, caring and helpful. I was treated with sensitivity and the utmost care.
